Dear Gary Cucchi, Katie Arn, Shannon Wilkes, Georgia Vong, Anna Smith and Anonymous Donor,

Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom project! My students are going to love the new literacy center pocket charts! New Ways To Teach Old Texts!

Dear Gary Cucchi,
Thank you so much for your contribution to my classroom! I cannot begin to express my gratitude to you for your donations. Tiffany and Gary, it is unbelievable to me that you funded my entire project! Your kindness and generosity will not go to waste. I cannot wait to tell my students on Tuesday that you helped fulfill this project. We finished this school year, but I teach sophomore honors again next year and these novels will be very helpful; now my students can actually read at home, allowing for more discussion in the classroom! Thank you again Townsend Press, for covering half the costs; I will definitely be continuing a professional relationship with your company.
With gratitude,
Ms. S.

Literacy Centers

Dear Gary Cucchi,
The words “thank you” cannot express how grateful I am for all your donations.
Because of your generosity my class will be able to learn independently during small group reading time, and have fun doing it.
The literacy center project that you all help fund came at such a crucial time. With school budget cuts becoming more increasing, the extra little things we want for our students to enhance their educations are only wishes.
But you made my wish for my class come true!

I know that my students, and my many more students to come will benefit from your thoughtfulness. So again THANK YOU!

With gratitude,
Ms. R.

Bringing Real World Events into the Classroom

Dear Gary Cucchi,

Thank you so much for your donation to make this project possible! My students loved learning this past year through our Time for Kids. They couldn’t get enough of the current events written on their level, as well as the activities that were provided. I know my new class of students will be just as thrilled to experience what is going on in the world through these magazine subscriptions.
The best part of the Time for Kids is that the students have reading material to take home and enjoy over and over. Students always love having something new and different to read and learn about.
Thank you again for partnering with my class to make learning an adventure!

With gratitude,
Ms. B.

Dear Gary Cucchi,

Thank you all so much for the huge impact you have made in my classroom. My students get so excited every time they get to play our new Literacy Ganes. It is so wonderful to walk around and hear their conversations. They are actively learning objectives such as; context clues, fact and opinion, prefixes, and suffixes. It is so important for them to be able to apply, in a fun manner, what is taught in the classroom. The skills that these Literacy Games are reinforcing will help them continue to be lifetime readers and learners. Thank you all again for making a difference in our classroom!

With gratitude,
Ms. A.

Mailbox organization

Dear Gary Cucchi,

Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. Next year I will be teaching the all boys first grade class. I feel that having mailboxes for the boys will help them to be more organized and will also help to ensure that important papers get home to their parents!

Other then helping papers go home I hope to achieve increasing the students responsibility with their work. The students will be asked to turn in their homework and to place any out going work in their mailbox. This will cut down on the “lost” papers in the desk. Boys also need to get up and move many times a day. By allowing the students time to place their work in their mailbox after each activity will ensure movement!

Thank you again I can’t wait to see my vision action.

With gratitude,
Mrs. W.

MATH KITS A HIT!!!!
Dear Gary Cucchi,
Words can’t express the appreciation we have for your support. The real-word problems math kits have made problem solving fun in the classroom. The students loved the challenge of finding the answer to the word problems that were created with menus, stat cards and job signs. These kits made them feel as though they were out in the world experiencing things they will need as they continue to get older.

Your kindness of donations have not only given this class of students a love for problem solving, but they will be able to be used for future classes.

Thank you again for making math count in our classroom!

With gratitude,
Ms. B.

Another Donors Choose Thanks You….

Dear Gary Cucchi,

Wow, I am so amazed at all the support and generosity shown towards my classroom! I am so excited to be able to have this wonderful opportunity to share with my students. I am eagerly awaiting the literacy games in order for our language arts objectives to be reinforced in a hands-on manner.

The literacy games will not only give a more hand-on approach to learning essential skills, but also show students how fun reading and reading comprehension is. I look forward to using these games for many years to come! Thank you.

With gratitude,
Ms. A.

New Ways to Teach Old Texts!

Dear Gary Cucchi,

WOW! Thank you all for the support! I cannot believe how quickly this project was funded! Thank you so much to Nellie and the anonymous donor who donated their Starbucks gift cards. Also a big thanks to Gary Cucchi and Horrace Mann for once again providing that final donation to complete my project. This project never would have been funded so quickly if it weren’t for the generosity of Townsend Press who matched all of your donations. I am so excited to see the learning gains made with the use of these supplemental texts!

With gratitude,
Ms. S.

Global Learning

Dear Gary Cucchi,
Thank you so much everyone for helping to fund this project. We appreciate you taking the time to donate. There are so many things that we are looking forward to using the laptop for. Some upcoming projects are animal powerpoints, author’s day books and more. The new headphones will be great, as the ones we have now are falling apart. Having two globes in class will also be a welcome. In the past, it was a challenge to have to go around and find globes to borrow when doing lessons on rotate, revolve and seasons. It’s also great for integrating geography into our lessons.
We can’t wait for the delivery of our new materials.
With gratitude,
Mrs. C.

Real World Problems to Learn Math Concepts

Dear Gary Cucchi,
Thank you so much for your generous donations! You have made it possible to give my students real-life problems to build their math skills. Without you, this would not have been possible! We will use these materials for the remainder of the year to review skills previously taught and introduce new skills that we have to cover. These real-life situations will make it fun and interactive for the students. Thanks again for giving and helping to put “fun” learning experiences back into our classroom!
With gratitude,
Ms. B.

Thumbs Up! Thumb Drives Help us Access our Work

Dear Gary Cucchi,

Technology integration is not only a requirement of Florida educators in the twenty-first century but is also necessary to meet the learning needs of all students. As a teacher who strives to give her students any materials and experiences that they need to be successful, I cannot express how excited I am to be able to support my students’ desire to learn through technology integration. Your generous donations have made this goal a reality. Through supporters like you, I will be able to not only enhance instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all of my students, but to provide them with the opportunity to practice the skills needed to become effective members of a technology-driven society. Your impact on my 42 students will last a lifetime! “Thank you Mr. Cucchi for your generous donation! We are ready to work and can do so with our new thumb drives! :)”

WMS 3rd Annual Animal Shelter Night

Dear Gary Cucchi,

The Animal Shelter Night project is going to be a huge success thanks to all who graciously donated to this project. The materials you are supplying will be instrumental in helping my students to perfect flyers and presentation display boards of the shelters they have researched. I am happy that so many people care so much for animals’ rights. We hope that our guests will become animal advocates to give animals a voice.

With gratitude,
Ms. D.
